Worship team
The Worship Team Engages the Congregation, by ushering them in the presence of God through worship. when we gather, we bring our prayers and petitions. We confess where we have fallen short and rejoice to experience the grace of God which is always reaching out to us.
Sound & Media
These teams play a major role of ensuring the service runs smoothly during the week in the youth service, on Sundays and on special occasions like weddings.
Service support
Our service support teams perform a critical role in ensuring everything runs smoothly. These teams include the Work Team, Ushers & Greeters, Security, Protocol, Journey Facilitators, Bathroom Attendants, and Intercessors
Ministry support
Our various ministries take in volunteers to help with ministering to the various age-groups. These include D-kidz Facilitators and Pre-teens, Destiny Youth facilitators and a Host Teams. Look out for announcements on when these teams are recruiting.
The Journey
Leadership training and creating disciples is core in achieving our vision at Destiny Chapel. For this reason, we offer world-class leadership training to our members through The Journey classes our Discipleship program.
Journey classes will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to lead people anywhere. More specifically, you’ll get the practical tools to lead a fusion group and mentor others, raising up great men and women who will themselves go on to raise their own.
Journey class is a three-level program, with each level lasting about 11 weeks. Classes are held once every week (Sunday afternoons) and lessons include foundational doctrine, leadership principles and life-skills. The syllabus also includes weekly tests and assignments (both practical and theoretical), as well as practical outreaches to different communities.
